In the early stages of the Second World War, the British Broadcasting Company asked Lewis to give radio presentations regarding Christian topics. Several series of talks aired in England from 1942-1944. After the war, Lewis adapted the published transcripts into the book Mere Christianity.
Douglas Gresham was 10 years old when his mother, Joy, married C.S. Lewis in 1956. After Joy's death four years later, Lewis raised Douglas and his brother until Lewis himself passed away in 1963. In this interview, he shares personal stories illustrating his stepfather's profound influence. Douglas is joined by Paul McCusker to discuss the production of C.S. Lewis at War, an audio dramatization from Focus on the Family Radio Theatre® which tells the story of Lewis' wartime talks.
