Dear North Carolina friend,
You have the opportunity to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 4, for men and women who pledge to uphold biblical values. Candidates for federal, state and judicial offices are asking for your vote. Yet, do you really know where they stand on issues important to your faith, your family and your freedoms?
Your Values Matter
Before you cast your ballot, we encourage you to review a special resource created for you by the North Carolina Family Policy Council (NCFPC), a state-based group associated with Focus on the Family. NCFPC's informative Voter Resources website includes its nonpartisan 2014 Voter Guide suitable for distribution in any church, civic meeting or community event. From federal races to state legislative and judicial races, you can easily find out where candidates stand on hot-button issues, including: abortion, same-sex marriage, ObamaCare, voter ID laws, school choice, gambling, physician-assisted suicide, term limits and parental rights.
Your Vote Matters
Please don't underestimate the power of your one vote.
Our daily lives are impacted by the choices made by our elected leaders—whether on the national, state or local levels. Remember, the November 2014 election will determine:
• |
Every seat in the U.S. House of Representatives (that's 435 seats) |
• |
One third of the seats in the U.S. Senate (33 + 3 special elections) |
|
|
You can't make an impact, if you don't vote.
It's never been easier—nor more important—to be equipped and engaged in North Carolina and the broader culture. |
